Use yoga inspired poses to build strength, then improve range of motion through deep stretching
Service Description
Owner Christy Hughes has created a new and unique class format designed to build strength while improving flexibility. We'll begin with thirty minutes of bodyweight exercises that are beautifully inspired by the ancient practice of yoga. The class is meticulously structured to help you engage in practices that will strengthen and tone your muscles. The final 20 minutes of class are dedicated to stretching, focusing on long holds that last between 2 to 5 minutes. These stretches are designed to improve your range of motion and enhance your overall mobility. At The Rooted Soul, we proudly welcome individuals of all fitness levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners, and we emphasize a holistic approach to well-being in all of our classes. Please note: The Science of Stretching program by YogaBody is contraindicated for pregnant women. You are welcome to join the first half hour of class and leave as we transition into stretching.
Cancellation Policy
Sessions can be canceled or rescheduled up to 1 hour before class. After that, no refunds will be issued. No-shows cannot be refunded. It's best to schedule online but drop-in's are welcome! Doors will be locked at the time of class. No late arrivals.
